Our Staff

The staff at Denver Accounting Services has extensive experience in small business accounting and bookkeeping. Our team has “real world” experience as QuickBooks ProAdvisors, CPA’s, Controllers and owners of accounting and bookkeeping businesses. That means they know exactly what the small business owner needs to get timely and accurate accounting and financial reports. They all share our “Client First” viewpoint and are prepared to provide high-quality, yet affordable services to small business owners and managers.

Tom Bresnan, President
Tom BresnanTom started his career as a CPA with Arthur Andersen & Co. and has served as Chief Financial Officer for several private companies. He has extensive background in accounting and professional services. Since 2012 he has served as President and Owner of Accounting & Business School of the Rockies. He served as President and CEO of New Horizons Worldwide, Inc. from 1994 through 2006. During that time New Horizons Computer Learning Centers became the world’s largest independent information technology training company and Microsoft’s largest global training partner. He is currently a member of the Board of Directors and chairman of the Audit Committee of Chesapeake Utilities, Inc. (NYSE: CPK) and a member of the Board of Directors of Global LT.

Yvette Shew, Account Manager
Yvette ShewYvette is a skillful bookkeeping and accounting professional with over 20 years experience. Her accounting career has provided a wide variety of experience and titles, including Regional Bookkeeper, Accounting Manager and Director of Operations. These career experiences have given her a well rounded background, in accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, job-costing, inventories, auditing, tax reporting and annual budget preparation. She has partnered with restaurant organizations, medical providers, service based industries and various construction industries accessing and building their financial and administrative procedures along with meeting their overall business needs and goals.

Becky Sheppard, Account Manager
Becky SheppardBecky has 20+ years’ experience in accounting & bookkeeping for a wide range of industries. Initially, she was trained using Peachtree for Accounting and later transitioned into QuickBooks beginning with the 1995 version. As the former Controller for a multi-million dollar company, Becky specializes in cleaning up messy books. She enjoys working with all the clients she has served. She is a QuickBooks ProAdvisor certified in all QuickBooks software including Pro/Premier, Enterprise, QuickBooks Online, and QuickBooks Point of Sale.

Diana Graff, Account Manager
Diana has over 15 years of experience in accounting and bookkeeping. She began her career as a part-time accounting assistant in college. After college, she started full-time with Deliotte and was able to work in various different industries. This allowed her to gain a vast range of experience. Since Deliotte, she has worked with several private companies and small business owners. Based on these experiences, she is focusing on helping companies with accounting system needs and business requirements.
